After four years of being a stay at home mum and realising I did not want to step back into a 9-5 desk job, I made the life changing decision to pursue my passion for fitness and enrolled in my Cert III & IV in Fitness at HPC.

I first got into fitness as a way of gaining back some sense of self and also for some plain old adult interaction after having my son. Within a year, going to the gym became an essential part of my daily routine. I loved feeling strong and seeing the results that came along with that. In 2015 I fell in love when I found Hiit Australia Geebung (Hiit Geebung) for the sick vibes and challenging sessions.

I started my course at HPC at the end of 2017. I immediately felt welcomed by the smiling girls at reception and then nervously took my seat in a class of strangers. Little did I know, these strangers would soon become my good friends.

The education (both theory and practical) is presented in such a fun, interesting and passionate way by the lecturers, it’s sometimes easy to forget you’re learning! With lessons in every single thing you could (and couldn’t) of in relation to being a Personal Trainer, I walked away with the tools to run a successful business, if I was willing to put in the work. I had so much fun during my time at HPC, I was sad to finish up!

I completed both my Certificates and I am now the Resident PT at Hiit Geebung. I am extremely busy, but it is so satisfying and rewarding helping my clients achieve their desired goals.

I run some of our group fitness classes at the gym which vary between strength and conditioning as well as Muay Thai. I also offer 1-on-1 or 1-on-2 personal training sessions. Whether you want to build your booty, push heavy weights, increase your fitness or better your Muay Thai skills, I’m your gal.

I would highly recommend HPC as the place to get your qualifications as a PT because I know for a fact that HPC graduates are highly sought after in the fitness industry as well as my own personal experiences at the centre which were nothing short of excellent.
