My journey into health and fitness started in 2015 whilst I was completing my last year of high school, whilst I wasn’t 100% serious about it I found it to be a great activity and loved seeing the changes that began to take place in my body. From then onwards training with friends and urging each other to become better has taken an integral part in my life.
I was two years into my bachelor’s degree of business struggling to consume any of the course content when I decided I was not cut out to be an accountant, from that moment onwards I started investigating training providers for the cert III & IV in fitness, I almost completed an online course… After hearing multiple recommendations to HPC I thought that I should at least see what all the fuss was about.
Whilst I was completing my course at HPC I was constantly surprised by the quality of both the facilities and the education I received and the family like atmosphere, the hands on practical sessions were what really made me love the whole experience after talking to friends that have completed the course elsewhere that didn’t receive any such training.
Since graduating from HPC I have competed in my first competition as a fitness model in the WBFF, I have started my own personal training business Alex Daw Fitness and have also secured a position as a personal trainer at Anytime Fitness Lismore. Whilst HPC has taught me everything I need to succeed as a personal trainer, the most important thing I gained from my time there was that you should never stop furthering your knowledge.
I’m currently growing my client base along with my knowledge and developing my physique to higher levels in order to compete again in the future. You can follow my journey on Instagram @alexdaw_ or on Facebook at Alex Daw Fitness. In the short period of time that I have already spent coaching clients I know this is where I belong and I thrive off each and every one of my clients.
