Have you ever wondered what is going on inside of your body? What are your body fat levels, your muscle?
When you train you are training towards a goal, whether that be to lose body fat, gain lean muscle or maintain your health and fitness levels.
As you know, taking care of your body is so important as it is the only place that you have to live in, and you wouldn’t be able to judge the health of your body by just looking at it on surface level. It is with the help of InBody scanning that you can track the following measurements and ensure that you are on your way to achieving your goals.
- Total Skeletal Muscle Mass
- Total Body Fat in Kilograms
- Total Body Fat Percentage
- Visceral Fat
- Total Body Water
- Segmental muscle and fat analysis
- Bone Mineral Content
- Basal Metabolic Rate & More
InBody uses Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) which is a method of measuring body composition and ensures that you are measured as you are with NO ASSUMPTIONS. Imputing your personal information such as your age and gender should not alter your results. The results are extremely precise and just as unique as the individual standing on it.
Here at HPC we use InBody Body Composition Analysers to measure the progress that our students are making over the duration of their personal training course. InBody is a great way to hold yourself accountable, as you can see even the smallest of changes in your body composition to evaluate your methods. With students completing a scan on start, midway and end we are able to see how they are utilising the tools and knowledge learned throughout the course to help them to change their body composition favourably.
Our lecturers ensure that all students are aware of how to interpret the scans and their results so that they can see their initial body composition measurements and make educated changes to their fitness and nutrition plans to achieve their goals. This helps to ensure that by week 6, their scan results will be heading in the right direction, and they can then utilise this tool and method for their future clients.
A lot of our students use their scans to set a time frame for their goals and as a motivational tool to assist them throughout their fitness journey. I am sure I am right when I say that there is nothing more motivating than when you start to see progress!
“I may not be there yet, but I am closer than I was yesterday” is a quote that expresses exactly how many of our scanners think, because they have the tools to measure their results and physically see that not only is there a difference on the outside, but on the inside as well!
